To safely fly any aircraft, a pilot must understand how to interpret and operate all the flight instruments. Also, he needs to be able to recognize any errors or malfunctions of these instruments. This course will explain the pitot-static system, gyroscopic instruments, and the magnetic compass in detail. When a pilot understands how each instrument works, it becomes second nature to react to any malfunctioning inflight.
