Flight Instruments
To safely fly any aircraft, a pilot must understand how to interpret and operate all the flight instruments. Also, he needs to be able to recognize any errors or malfunctions of these instruments. This course will explain the pitot-static system, gyroscopic instruments, and the magnetic compass in detail. When a pilot understands how each instrument works, it becomes second nature to react to any malfunctioning inflight.
Course Objectives
- Learn about the different components related to flight instruments, functions, and operating characteristics, including errors, and common malfunctions.
- Understand instructional knowledge of the elements related to the flight instruments, as applicable to the airplane used for the practical test.
- Develop the pilot’s understanding of the flight instruments and their operation and use.
